We are just a few days away from the second annual Ontario Screen Creators Conference and cannot wait to get started! The OSCC was brought to life in conglomeration with the annual Forest City Film Festival; two events, both jam packed full of exciting workshops or screenings each day. We want to help plan your OSCC & FCFF weekend by highlighting when our workshops are on throughout the day along with where they can be found so your travel between both events is smooth!
Friday, October, 21th
Figuring out Film Unions: Join us to learn about the top unions in the industry and how these unions are your next big step in a big time film career. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 12:30pm and ending at 2:00pm
Media buyers panel: Want to know what media buyers are looking for? Now is your chance, Sit down with massive industry leaders, like Bell, CBC, Corus, and Vortex Media. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 2:30pm and ending at 4:00pm
Screen creatives networking party: Take a break, join us at our networking party and meet people from all different aspects within the industry! This event will be held at CHE Resto Bar starting at 4:30 pm
Ashgrove: After the party swing by the FCFF for their screening of Ashgrove. This film will be featured in our Making Of panel where you get a behind the scenes peak into the creation of to breathtaking feature films. This event will be held at Wolf Performance Hall starting at 9:00pm
Saturday, October 22nd
Breakfast mentoring: Come and have breakfast with us! Enjoy exclusive conversations with our experts guests – each from different corners of the filmmaking industry. This event will be held at the Double Tree Hotel across from the OSCC’s main venue (RBC place). Join us at 8:30am for a fantastic start to your day!
Music Sync Summit: OSCC and the London Music Office dive headfirst into the world of music synchronization featuring panel discussions, a workshop, pitch session and speed dating with industry leading professionals. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 10:00am and it’s FREE!
Come Get your money: Let us show you where the money is for your next project, this panel of experts will help you find creative ways to bring your project to life! This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 10:30am.
Finding Your Audience: Come to this panel to hear what a group of industry veterans say about finding your audience for your latest project. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 1:00pm.
Music Video Panel: Dive into the world of music videos through funding, production, and disseminating to your audience. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 2:00pm.
Micro Meetings: Three 30-minute meetings. One, two or all three may interest you. Pop in and out as you please! This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 2:30pm.
Locations Happy Hour: Smile, It’s happy hour! Join us for a night of drinks, networking and an all around good time! This event will be held at 100 Kellogg lane starting at 4:30pm.

Storytelling in Gaming and Film: Come to this panel with some of the industries best writers to find out the ways of the world of writing for games and the differences between video game writing vs the film and television writing. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 10:30am.
Just the Facts: Pitching factual TV series in a competitive market: This session will tell you how to take your reality, true crime, lifestyle, documentary, competition, limited series or one-off factual TV idea and craft it for a network pitch. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 11:00am.
Making of Adult Adaptation and Ashgrove: Key creative teams from feature films Ashgrove and Adult Adoption tell us about the trials and tribulations on their paths from idea to audience. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 1:00pm.
Diverse Voices Through an Authentic Lens : Important conversations discussing elements of diversity with a variety of directors who have clear and authentic voices from various perspectives. This event will be held at RBC Place starting at 1:00pm.
