The Forest City Film Festival is bringing it back as our “Flashback Friday” screening this year to honour the life and times of Robbie Robertson.

The film unfolds as a candid, enlightening, and occasionally lighthearted narrative, shedding light on Robertson’s formative years and the genesis of one of the most enduring musical groups in the annals of popular music. Combining a treasure trove of seldom-seen archival footage with insightful interviews featuring a stellar cast of Robertson’s close friends and creative partners, the documentary includes luminaries such as Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Martin Scorsese, Taj Mahal, Peter Gabriel, David Geffen, Ronnie Hawkins, and many more.
