Open Waters

Discover the Lake Ontario Swim Team and its founder Rob Kent as he describes his journey about finding the little adventures in everyday life.

Open water swimming occurs in large bodies of water as opposed to swimming pools, and the Lake Ontario Swim Team (LOST) has grown to become one of the largest open water groups in the world!

Open Waters is a poetic expositional documentary and incorporates gorgeous shots of the lake and swimming, as well as reflective and inspiring interviews with LOSTies (swimmers in LOST), all within five minutes.

The film focuses on the camaraderie, passion, and fortitude of the swimmers as they take an icy plunge into Lake Ontario during their first training session of year in February 2022.
