THE LEG UP LAB FOR SCREENWRITERS:

HOW TO GO PRO

July 17-18 & 24-25

Application deadline June 19, 2021

Limited Seats Available – Apply Today!

Learn how to take the next step in your career from an impressive list of successful professionals.

This is not a “How to Write a Screenplay” event. This event is for those who already possess the skills required to confidently, dependably write an industry-standard screenplay and now wish to become a professional screenwriter for film and/or television.

We will address the THREE PATHWAYS TO PROFESSIONAL WORK:

  1. SELL your completed work to professionals
  2. GET HIRED to create work for professionals
  3. PARTNER with professionals and collaborate with them directly to create content

This particular leg of the journey seems to be rarely spoken about, is often misunderstood, and our goal is to thoroughly educate emerging writers on what is possible, how to make the transition, and to reset counterproductive, unhealthy, ignorant or misinformed expectations.  The FCFF has brought together a group of partners that wants to see writers from Southwestern Ontario succeed in the industry. Do not miss this opportunity to learn about the next step in your screenwriting career!
